FAQ
The questions everyone asks
Am I really buying a nebula?
No, and nobody can: space law forbids ownership of celestial objects. What you buy is shares of a nebula fragment recorded in a name: a dedication in our private registry, a personalized certificate and a gift page. No astronomical organization recognizes this dedication; the value lies in the gesture, not in a legal right.
What does the recipient receive?
An immersive gift page in their name, unveiled like a jewel box over the photograph of their nebula, and a personalized diploma-style certificate (name, dedication, registry number, authentic photograph), downloadable as a PDF and ready to frame.
Are the nebula images real?
Yes, 100%. Every nebula in the collection is an authentic archival photograph from the public programs of the great observatories (Hubble, James Webb, ESO…), used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license and credited in our legal notice.
How much does a share cost, and how many should I choose?
A share costs €2.90 or €4.90 depending on the nebula's renown. The number is up to you: one share is enough for the gesture; some choose a meaningful number (12 shares for a June 12th). Each object has a finite, cosmic-scale number of shares, the certificate states the share of the sky your choice represents.
Can I schedule the delivery for a specific date?
Yes. Choose "Schedule a date" at the personalization step: the gift page stays sealed until the big day, then unveils itself. The delivery email is sent automatically on the chosen date.
Is the payment secure?
Yes: payment is processed by Stripe (end-to-end SSL encryption). Your card details never touch our servers.
Does the certificate have any official or scientific value?
No, and it says so on the certificate itself: the dedication is decorative and confers no ownership of any celestial object. No astronomical authority recognizes it, and no space organization (NASA, ESA, ESO, NOIRLab) sponsors or endorses Eonelya. We prefer a proudly honest symbol to a false promise.
